Private Corporate Events – More than a Cookery Class

Looking for somewhere unique to have your corporate Christmas Party or end of year social event? We provide the perfect venue for those who want an interactive cooking event, private dinner, cocktail party … or a combination of it all. Dates are limited so contact us for a tailored quote.

Why not mix work with pleasure? The Kinsale Gourmet Academy is a unique location for corporate hosting, team building, staff development, social club activities, hosted client events and can even be used as a venue for product launches or media events. You can choose from hands-on or demonstration style classes – depending on your numbers.

So if you would like to ‘build’ your own programme, then this is where we are different. We will work with you to learn your objectives and design the combination of activities to meet these objectives. It could be a combination of a cookery school course with a teambuilding event, a meeting, a visit to a local food producer, a fun outdoors activity, a motivational after-dinner speaker … and the list goes on.

And by using the entertainment areas and grounds of Ballinacurra House, these events can be spread over 1, 2 or more days. We have a menu of options available for you to ‘build’ your own programme, which can be organised within Ballinacurra House or around Kinsale. Some of these to whet your appetite are:

  • Meeting or product launch – the serious stuff
  • Catch & Cook – private fishing trip and then back to cook your catch
  • Outdoors teambuilding activities (you can see a full list at www.teambuild.ie)
  • Turn your dinner into a fun Murder Mystery hosted by professional actors
  • The Apprentice Challenge in and around Kinsale – just like on TV
  • Work up an appetite at the Oysterhaven Outdoor Activity Centre
  • Kayaking on the Bandon River at the bottom of our Garden
  • Golf at the spectacular Old Head Golf Course
  • Art or pottery lesson next door at the Kinsale Art School
  • Visit a local food producer and then learn how to incorporate what’s seasonal
  • The Dinner Party Game – a fun Ipad dinner party quiz to break the ice
  • Or something a little more physical like laser war games in our forest
  • Horseriding at the Kinsale Equestrian Centre or West Cork Equestrian Centre
  • Or sea kayaking along the stunning West Cork coastline not far away
