Weber Grill Academy – Seafood Essentials

If eating more fish was in on your list of new years resolutions, then listen up! Even though we live on an island, most people really don’t know how to cook fish properly and are almost scared to try the vast amount of varieties to choose from.

On 12th Feb we have a class that might be just for you; a one day class Weber Seafood Essentials from 11.00am to 3.00pm. You will learn everything you need to know about cooking fresh fish at home on the grill.

Course summary:

If you love seafood flavours, then this 4-hour barbecue course is a must. You’ll learn a variety of different skills, such as how to grill, bake and smoke on the barbecue as well as essential fish preparation skills and recipe inspiration.

Fish for dinner

During this course you and your classmates will prepare a variety of different dishes under the guidance of an expert chef. Using a combination of charcoal and gas barbecues, you’ll be taught skills from lighting techniques to controlling temperature and knowing when your food is perfectly cooked.


In addition to being shown how to use Weber’s “lid-n” cooking techniques, the chef will demonstrate smoking mussels with garlic, cream and white wine, as well as teaching you how to fillet a whole fish to create mouth-watering fish tacos.

The menu will include:

  • Fish tacos
  • Smoked garlic butter mussels
  • Seared tuna steak
  • Grilled whole fish with garlic and lemon
  • Curried king prawn and potato kebabs
  • Herb and fennel salad
  • Rotisserie pineapple upside down cake

Course costs €119.00 per person includes meals and glass of wine.
